What's not to love about Hello Kitty? Everything seemed lovable about the Japanese cartoon character at a packed launch party in the Four Season's ballroom.
Crystal brand Swarovski launched a collection of bling-bling Kitty goodies at the event including clutches, earrings and necklaces bearing the crystal-studded cartoon feline.
Many of the guests also glammed up as they tried to keep pace. Canto-pop star Kenny Kwan Chi-bun wore oversized shield shades and pseudo model Anjaylia Chan Ka-po had a Lady Gaga-inspired hair bow to mimic Hello Kitty's signature bow.
But when it comes to runway shows, it's difficult to steal the spotlight from Jennifer Tse Ting-ting. Doing the finale for the show, Tse wowed the audience with a mega-catchy limited edition Hello Kitty figurine that featured about 20,000 crystals.
Ladies were happy to talk about their Hello Kitty passion throughout the night. Tse's childhood memory of the character, however, has little to do with luxury. 'I had a Hello Kitty cooking pot and made noodles with it. That is my favourite. It fits just one portion perfectly,' Tse chuckled.
