There was no shortage of celebrities and socialites dressed head-to-toe in the latest Marc Jacobs' creations at the brand's Autumn/Winter 2011 fashion show at The Landmark on Thursday night.
The atrium was shrouded in silvery blue satin to suggest New York in early winter while the fountain became a futuristic circular runway, on which more than 30 top Asian and international models showcased polka-dot knits, lacy lapels and patent leather lace-up platform boots.
Front-row guest Kelly Chen Wai-lam dispelled pregnancy rumours with her outfit of a black, figure-hugging embroidered pencil skirt teamed with an ivory silk top. The singer said she was not rushing towards another pregnancy, and would let 'nature take its course'.
The mother of two-year-old Chace Lau is more preoccupied with her son's grooming - or lack thereof. 'His hair has grown a bit too long lately,' Chen said. 'I cut it last time, and I have to admit I still have no idea how to style boys' hair.'
Maybe by the time Chace starts caring about his looks, the budding stylist will have mastered some techniques; until then, he can always wear a Mickey Mouse hat.
