Development offers ease of convenience

People living in Hong Kong know the advantages of getting around with ease and convenience for work, school, shopping or a night out. And owning an apartment at London's luxurious new Waterside E1 development allows them the same sense of having everything just around the corner.

'The apartments are brilliantly located,' says Richard Teoh, sales director of Hamptons International (HK). 'They are within a quiet residential area, but strategically placed to maximise on all that central London has to offer.'

The neighbourhood boasts Queen Mary University whose law school is ranked the third best in Britain and with the regeneration of London's eastern quarter, Waterside E1 also benefits from many world-class local attractions.

'Europe's largest new urban shopping showpiece - Westfield Stratford City - is only one tube stop away,' Teoh says.

A short hop across the River Thames is the 23,000-capacity O2 arena, regarded as the world's 'busiest' in terms of the rock, pop and sporting spectaculars it stages. ExCeL, a 100,000-square-metre exhibition venue at Royal Victoria Dock, will host sports during the London Olympics and already sees numerous private, public and corporate events.

And services from London City Airport, favoured by business people for its proximity to Canary Wharf and direct flights to more than 30 cities in Europe, are expected to grow in line with demand.
