Diesel Outlet, which stocks about 8,000 items from 2005 to last year's season, will make aficionados of the brand feel like a child in a candy store. Items such as Diesel Black Gold, beachwear, footwear, underwear, children's clothing and fragrance are available. Discounts range from 30 per cent to 80 per cent.

'Currently, we do not have exclusive items at our outlet store. However, new merchandise arrives almost every other week,' says Federico Tan, head of marketing, Diesel Pacific. The majority of Diesel Outlet's target customers range from 28 to 40 years old.

'Our target customers are a mixture of local consumers and tourists, and fashionistas looking for Diesel pieces at a more affordable price. Sometimes, you can find some great one-off fashion show pieces at our outlet,' he says.

Moiselle Warehouse, housing 6,400 items from the autumn/winter 2007 to autumn/winter 2010 collections, sells dresses and shoes. The discount range is from 20 per cent to 90 per cent. 'Our target consumers are tourists and local customers,' says Edith Chan, assistant operation manager of Moiselle. Established in 1997, Moiselle focuses on hand-made details such as sequins and embroideries. It features two lines - Classic Moiselle and The New Look - offering work wear and evening gowns.

The vintage-inspired Classic Moiselle line mixes contemporary design with Victorian elements. It is characterised by bead embroidery, batwing sleeves, ruche chiffon sleeves, mandarin collars and empress silhouette. The New Look features basic blazers, skirts and cropped pants. The line is also defined by soft, puffy sleeves, loose-fit silhouettes, ribbons, stone embroidery and floral details. Created with those who lead the high-life in mind, it hopes to inject a dose of modernity into the wardrobe.
