Regus and Rhombus Hotels are two of the companies that are leading the gentrification of Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), having both set up shop there.

The 16,600-square-foot Regus business centre is located on the 10th floor of Miramar Tower, off Nathan Road. It joins a growing portfolio of Regus offices in Hong Kong.

The Miramar Tower business facility has 200 workstations and is the first centre in Hong Kong with a semi-private campus, offering workers a secluded work area, with the networking benefits of an open-plan office.

Also on site are a boardroom, meeting room and business lounge. Clients can rent out meeting rooms for full-day or half-day sessions, and flexible terms are available for the offices. Located in the shared space of the business lounge are four innovative 'Thinkpods', resembling first-class cubby-holes on a plane. Each working space has an adjustable chair, in-built light and small desk.

Nathan Road is a short walk from the nearby TST MTR station, so it's a hop and skip from the Central business district and the Airport Express rail line. The more intrepid can walk to the MTR's East TST Station to connect to Hung Hom and on to southern China by train.

Though Hotel Panorama by Rhombus in TST is a few years old, it was one of the early entrants to the now-happening and well-connected cul de sac around Hart Avenue and Mody Road. Their flagship restaurant has just been re-branded and re-launched as Ava Restaurant Slash Bar, which is now an improved venue for a business lunch or evening meal.

The restaurant is situated on the 38th floor and is accessed via a private glass-walled bullet lift. The venue boasts a 270-degree view of Victoria harbour. With its open spaces, the atmosphere is formal yet relaxed and not at all intimidating.

A private room accommodates up to 12 people, and the flexibility of the space is fitting for corporate occasions, such as presentations, meetings, product launches and press events.

Another feather in the venue's cap is the Sky Bar and open-air Sky Garden, which is available for private events or cocktails.
