Whyte is the one to beat

Weight of numbers make Douglas Whyte the likely winner of the Jockey Challenge tonight.

The Durban Demon has seven opportunities for points and was a $3 favourite last night, just ahead of challenger Vincent Ho Chak-yiu ($4.75), the only other jockey with the same amount of rides.

Whyte's best hopes appear in the final two races - Great Renown and Aerosa, but other mounts appear to have good hopes , most with decent draws.
