On proposals to rename West Kowloon Cultural District:
Yi Long - I think it's ridiculous to spend money on something as simple as finding a name.
Sam Ho - A total waste of money. The name isn't that important. What is most important is the content and the cultural values.
Lyn Ayt - Quit spending money for a fancy name, give it to the people who need it. HK's government is one of the richest in the world, can't they do a bit more?! On the new high-definition iPad:
Rachel Pang - This is why it's called 'The New iPad' instead of 'iPad 3' because it will start to sound ridiculous when it gets to iPad 6. It should just be called 'Just Some More iJunk I don't really need, but will buy cause I want to be cool'.
Marcus H. Langston - I had to sit next to a woman on a four-hour flight who played an iPad 'penny shoving game' the whole way with the sound on. Half way through the flight I gave her a look of desperation and annoyance. I have long thought iPads are for morons and this sort of proved it.
On Li Na's comments that angered her mainland fans:
Charles Henning - What a breath of fresh air she is ... none of that silly, manufactured 'patriotism' to ingratiate herself to the old men ruling the CCP. Despite still pretty much being second-class citizens, the women of China are what really give the country hope.
David Samuel Wieland - Heaven forbid you're just trying to achieve something for yourself, not for your country.
Some rural mainland children are still malnourished:
Sandy London - Despite rising incomes in China, children are still suffering from malnutrition. These children are off the radar screen for the government, 'Shame on you China'! This is disgusting and sad!
