Dance music and fashion mags keep DJ and barber Ball Ng engaged

What I’m listening to: as a DJ, I’m always listening to dance music such as techno, tech-house and breakbeat. I’ve been addicted since I first heard this music as a kid. It never fails to put me in a good mood.

What I’m reading: I usually pick fashion magazines instead of books as I am dyslexic (just kidding). My favourites are local mags such as Esquire, Milk and so on.

What I’m watching: I rarely stay in watching television as I always work late at night. I prefer to spend my leisure time watching YouTube for music and the latest videos going around. When it comes to movies, I just follow my fiancée. She’s always well organised when it comes to movie time – the last one we watched was Insidious 3, which had a really tight plot.

Where I’m surfing: I’m a shopaholic when it comes to online shopping. I like checking out the US and UK street fashion brands on sale at the Brooklyn HK website, and I also support the local streetwear label Byff Clothing. And for my job as a barber, I often look for tips and new techniques on overseas barber websites.
