What I’m listening to: a lot of Bon Iver, in anticipation of their visit to Hong Kong in March. For Emma, Forever Ago is one of my all-time favourite albums. I’m also looking forward to starting the new Serial podcast – I thought the last one was completely brilliant.

What I’m reading: I’ve just finished A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. It’s both beautiful and heartbreaking. Next up is Jon Ronson’s So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed, which is about the power of social media and online shaming. There are never enough hours in the day to get through my to-read list.

What I’m watching: Game of Thrones. I’ve only got a few episodes left of the latest season and I’m completely hooked. I also can’t wait to watch Brooklyn, the Nick Hornby adaptation of Colm Tóibín’s wonderful novel.

What artists I’m following: I’ve loved seeing Antony Gormley’s Event Horizon in Hong Kong. The idea that it encourages the public to look up and see familiar places in a different way works so well here.

Where I’m surfing: I was recently introduced to theloophk.com, which is great for discovering things to do and see in Hong Kong. I also really like the-pool.com - it always posts relevant and interesting articles and reviews.
