Spa Monkeys’ Phoebe Song talks about her TripAdvisor-for-spas website, starting up in Hong Kong, and a new project
Australian-born Hong Kong entrepreneur running website that lists beauty, spa and wellness service providers, a skincare brand and supplements business talks about her plans for a non-profit to help victims of disasters
Australian-born Phoebe Song founded Spa Monkeys in 2014 as a platform to launch new beauty and wellness ventures. Today the Spa Monkeys portfolio has expanded to skincare – Song runs an award-winning skincare brand called Snow Fox Skincare – and includes a certified, quality-controlled website, loosely modelled on TripAdvisor, for beauty, spa and wellness service providers called Tamarin Reviews, and the Life Biome, which offers a range of high-level bioactive nutritional supplements.
Aside from these main strands of business, Song and her business partner will be launching The Life Biome Project, a non-profit organisation to provide nutrients with a long shelf life to people living in poverty or disaster zones.
