While summer has drawn to a close, Hong Kong is blessed with a climate that means the season for huddling indoors is mercifully short. It is with a love of everything alfresco that Everything Under the Sun offers some of the city's finest outdoor furnishings.
The shop, which opened in 1996, stocks an array of products for retail clients, architects, designers and property developers.
It has already worked on more than 500 commercial projects.
It aims to bring customers the latest international trends in furniture and outdoor accessories from international fairs and exhibitions, such as Maison & Objet in France, Spoga + Gafa in Germany and the Italian Salone Internazionale del Mobile.
"Today, it is so simple to extend the comfort and style of your indoor living area to the outdoors," says managing director Dora Chow.
"Outdoor living is gaining popularity in Hong Kong and customers have higher expectations for furniture quality. Our team works diligently to bring our customers the latest design trends along with new and eco-friendly materials available in the market.
"We carry the most internationally renowned brands."
Brands include Vondom from Spain, Viteo (Austria), Cane-line (Denmark), Emu (Italy) and Kettal (Spain).
The store's tailor-made design brand, SunWeave, is widely used for project work.
The company's upholstered sofas are also completely waterproof for easy maintenance.
"We have a gorgeous range of furniture aside from tables, chairs and benches. We have bar stools and tables, sun loungers, modular sofas, outdoor lighting, planter boxes, barbecues and outdoor heaters," Chow says. "We have a range of outdoor tableware and glasses, insect repellent machines and stylish balcony screens."
