Keeping up with Jones With his spring-summer collection well received and the buzz around his autumn-winter line-up positive, too, it seems Kim Jones can do no wrong at Louis Vuitton menswear. The neon and sporty bags have grabbed the headlines but we love the chic and sophisticated summer looks, including this punting-on-the-Thames look of Hawaiian shirt (HK$7,100), patchwork short jeans (HK$35,500), Damier Ebene bag (HK$24,000), Archipelago sandals (HK$7,650), Damier Ikat diamond scarf (HK$2,950) and hat (all above right). We also love the more serious look of unconstructed jacket (HK$25,900), cargo shorts (HK$5,800) and evening shirt (all above left; HK$7,100). Louis Vuitton is in The Landmark, Central, tel: 8100 1182.

Race off Formula One sped back onto our screens a few weeks ago, so the petrolheads among us need to kit up for the season ahead. We love the retro Tag Heuer leather race jackets – inspired by the 1971 film Le Mans – that have more than a touch of Steve McQueen about them. Get a few laps under your belt with the cool white jacket (above left; HK$2,950) or the menacing black version (above right; HK$5,100). Tag Heuer is in Soundwill Plaza, 38 Russell Street, Causeway Bay, tel: 2970 2208.

Bless you Famous for outré designs, Linda Farrow has been making sunglasses since the 1970s. However, the secret to remaining fresh and relevant has been hooking up with the coolest design studios, such as Paris-Berlin collective Bless. The Linda Farrow x Bless double frame aviators are all cool sophistication and we recommend the silver-tinted pair (above right; HK$2,780) and the silver-and-black-tinted version (above left; also HK$2,780). Linda Farrow x Bless is available at Bauhaus, 496 Lockhart Road, Causeway Bay, tel: 2838 6228.

Hip to be Squarestreet Hong Kong's hipsters have long gathered outside Squarestreet's Sheung Wan store for the brand's monthly "happenings", but with the launch of the SQ600s they have even more reason to loiter. The simply designed light canvas range of trainers is so named because each pair is priced at HK$600. Our picks include the Year of the Snake-apposite green-print trainers (top) and the fresh-for-summer yellow version (above). Squarestreet is at 15 Square Street, Sheung Wan, tel: 2362 1086.
