Clinique's Moisture Surge Color Correcting Cream SPF30/PA+++ (HK$290/40ml) is an oil-free, light diffusing product that comes in five shades - two for illuminating skin and three for balancing tones. It also hydrates - thanks to ingredients such as aloe barbadensis leaf water, hyaluronic acid and water binding agents - and prevents skin from ageing with the help of antioxidant vitamin E.

Max Factor's Color Correcting Cream SPF10 (HK$128/30ml) moisturises skin with the help of ingredients such as cucumber water, glycerin, rose-hip extract and sea buckthorn. The four shades to choose from contain pigments that neutralise the complexion to make skin appear smoother.

Wei's Chinese Licorice Anti-Ageing Color Correction Cream (HK$450/30ml) comes in two shades (fair/medium and medium/tan) and promises to tone skin with a matte finish. It is infused with Chinese Licorice, an anti-ageing ingredient rich in amino acids, enzymes, vitamins and minerals, which works to combat problems such as fine lines and open pores.

Origins' Smarty Plants CC SPF 20 PA++ Skin complexion corrector (HK$290/40ml) is a three-in-one product designed to "protect, perfect and correct" skin. Antioxidant green tea extract and vitamins C and E offer protection from pollutants and free radicals; algae provides hydration; and salicylic acid and chestnut extract help smooth skin. Plant-coated mineral pigments are said to enhance overall tone.
