Three sisters caught in Thailand after 14 years of theft
Five other family members are still on the run from police

Three sisters who embarked on a 14-year shoplifting spree at shopping malls and convenience stores were caught in Bangkok and Pathum Thani.
Tim Iemphueng, 51, wanted on an arrest warrant issued by the Prachin Buri provincial court, was apprehended in Lam Luk Ka district of Pathum Thani.
Her sisters Jiew, 44 and Toi, 33, were caught separately in Din Daeng district and Sai Mai district, Bangkok, said Pol Col Arun Wachiarasrisukanya, chief of the Crime Suppression Division’s sub-division 2.
The three siblings had being lifting goods from shopping malls and convenience stores in Bangkok and other provinces since 2003, said Pol Col Arun. They operated separately.
Complaints had been brought against each of them and they were caught and taken to court. However, they had bolted after being released on bail. So police had to track them down again.
The suspects allegedly confessed to the charges. Ms Tim was taken to the Prachin Buri provincial court, Ms Jiew to the Samut Songkhram court and Ms Toi the Bangkok Criminal Court.
Police investigators learned that five other members of the family were involved in similar criminal activities. They were being hunted down.
