Catching up on their sleep: Delegates caught snoozing during NPC

It's the most important meeting of the year, when the two legislative and consultative bodies of China meet to decide major policies and key government appointments.

Yet for some the People's Congress is clearly an opportunity to catch up on some much-needed sleep.

These delegates were caught yawning and napping in the gallery throughout today's session, which included outgoing China Premier Wen Jiabao delivering the government work report during the opening ceremony of the National People's Congress (NPC) at the Great Hall of the People.
