Luxury, elegance and all the beauty essentials a girl could ask for

A live jazz band played amid models, Hong Kong socialites and VIP guests in Pacific Place's foyer at the opening of the new Beauty Gallery last Thursday.

Designed by renowned architect Thomas Heatherwick, who also renovated the entire interior of the mall last year, the gallery has a contemporary elegance and a welcoming atmosphere

Mirroring the rest of the mall, each shop is designed with curved glass windows that flow into one another. The nine luxury brands include Chanel, Joyce Beauty, Nars and Giorgio Armani, providing limitless choice for visitors' beauty needs. The night also marked the first standalone stores for La Mer, Yves Saint Laurent and Natura Bisse in Hong Kong.

Chris Heywood, senior manager of Swire Properties, hopes the Beauty Gallery will become the "ultimate destination for beauty shopping in [the city]".

Hong Kong style icon and the event's special guest, Kelly Chen Wai-lam, was joined by Cara Grogan, Josephine Chiu and Irene Wong at the opening event. They admired the stunning interior design and expressed their excitement for the Beauty Gallery as a one-stop shop for their daily cosmetic and skincare rituals.
