Education row sinks Leung's popularity
Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying's latest popularity rating dropped 6.4 per cent according to a TVB-commissioned Chinese University poll, and now stands at 47.4 points. Almost 60 per cent of the 540 respondents surveyed on Tuesday and Wednesday expressed "dissatisfaction" over the Leung administration's handling of the national education curriculum saga.
Bank founder's son sued for defaulting
Rogerio Lam Sou-fung, son of the late Hang Seng Bank founder Lam Bing-yim, is being sued for failing to repay a HK$3.4 million loan, plus interest. In a High Court writ, money lender Hang Fai Finance said he borrowed HK$3 million in May last year.

Man held in Lan Kwai Fong rape allegation
A man, 24, was arrested at his home yesterday on suspicion of raping a woman he met in a pub in Lan Kwai Fong earlier this month. The woman, 23, reported the incident to police on Wednesday, saying she met the man on September 7, and was drunk when he took her to his flat in Happy Valley where she was raped.
