Cyclist killed in collision with private bus in Discovery Bay

A cyclist died after a collision between his bicycle and a private bus – not a golf cart as earlier stated in police information – in Discovery Bay on Thursday.
The crash happened downhill on Discovery Valley Road at about 12.18pm.
A police spokesman said the crash left the cyclist unconscious and he was rushed to North Lantau Hospital where he was later declared dead.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
