Manny Pacquiao will rumble into Macau later this month to promote his next fight - but don't expect to see him in Hong Kong.

The eight-time weight division world champion will be fighting for the second time at the CotaiArena after last year's hugely successful comeback fight against US-Mexican Brandon Rios. The 35-year-old Filipino icon is scheduled to take on American Chris Algieri in Clash in Cotai II on November 23 but all his media activities will be done in the former Portuguese enclave.

Pacquiao and Algieri plus two-time Olympic champion Zou Shiming and Top Rank founder and CEO Bob Arum will attend a press conference in Macau on August 25. Macau is the first leg of a six-city promotional tour that includes Shanghai, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York

Promoters insist they won't be changing the Macau date even though it clashes with another eagerly awaited per-per-view clash in London - Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora.

That bout will also be held on November 22 (US time) meaning it will start just hours before the Macau extravaganza, which kicks off in the early hours of November 23 to cater to US audiences.

The Fury-Chisora "grudge" heavyweight eliminator fight - the winner will likely meet IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko - had been rescheduled recently.

The London fight could affect pay-per-view sales somewhat for the Pacquiao fight, which will still be the bigger draw.

"Top Rank and Venetian Macao are happy with the November 23 date for the Pacquiao v Algieri world title fight," said a Top Rank spokesman.
