John Size is Right on target after Sunday four-timer

So Fast has now registered three wins from six starts, while Right Call kept on well for third to Who Else But You

John Size's team is starting to come alive with Right Call and So Fast definitely looking like horses for the black book after their runs on the weekend.

Certainly Dehere's The Love also did well winning and will be improved by the race, but his opportunities are few and far between now his rating is in triple figures and the two turf horses look like better prospects.

Right Call made our 10 to follow for the season off his nice trials in New Zealand, where he looked a horse who might take some racing and experience to show his best and he has looked similar here.

Expect [Right Call] to continue to improve and he will be better over more ground than this as well

His run up the straight was very sound from a low draw on debut but 1,000m isn't his distance and probably neither is the 1,200m of Sunday's event when he kept on well for third to Who Else But You.

The son of Darci Brahma got an easy trip from a good draw and didn't have to do anything special to finish where he did, so he was a touch flattered, but expect him to continue to improve and he will be better over more ground than this as well.

It was surprising to hear Size so nonplussed by So Fast's victory in his post-race interview as the gelding has now registered three wins from six starts and really didn't have a lot in his favour from a wide draw on Sunday, as has been the case in his past three runs.

Each time, So Fast has had to work hard to get himself forward and across, and stuck on strongly at the finish. His task was also not made easy by apprentice-ridden lightweight Forever Accurate on Sunday.

So Fast's main rival in the betting was Midnight Rattler, who got all the favours from his barrier one, didn't spend any energy in the run and still couldn't quite run down the leader at the finish.

It's hard not to think that, when the wheel of luck spins So Fast's way at the draw, as it soon must, he's going to put one of these races away with some comfort.

So Fast, ridden by Joao Moreira, wins the class 3 over 1,400m at Sha Tin on December 6.
