Hang Lung adds 5-star hotel to its mixed-use project in Shengyang
Conrad Shenyang will occupy the upper 19 floors of the 67-storey office tower, Forum 66
Hang Lung Properties plans to open a new five-star hotel at its mixed use development in Shenyang in the first half of 2019.
The 315-room Conrad Shenyang hotel will occupy the upper 19 floors of the 67-storey office tower at a mixed use development, Forum 66, in Shenyang, Norman Chan, director (leasing and sales) of Hang Lung Properties said, on Wednesday.
“We are excited to work with Hilton to introduce the Conrad brand to Shenyang, a debut that will appeal to business and leisure travellers alike,” said Chan.
“The all-new hotel is ideally located on Qingnian Da Jie and is only steps away from our shopping mall, which will offer guests of the hotel a diverse array of services, shopping and lifestyle experiences.”
The grand ballroom, which can accommodate over 500 guests, will be a five-star venue for tenants of the adjacent office tower and the city’s elite.
The ballroom can cater to a variety of events and functions, including conferences and business meetings.
Opened in 2015, Forum 66’s Grade A-office tower has already attracted tenants including Medtronic, Covidien, Nikon, Astellas Pharma and Omron. The latest addition is Bank of China’s regional headquarters.
“We believe the addition of a premium hotel will complement our vision for Forum 66 as the destination of choice for high-end shopping, entertainment, business and hospitality experiences in Shenyang,” Chan said.
