Crispy triple-cooked Australian black Angus beef short rib at Mott 32

Mott 32 in Hong Kong gives traditional Chinese dishes a modern twist

The chef at this high-end concept restaurant has a farm-to-table philosophy, and uses only the best ingredients to prepare a delicious selection of dishes

Named after New York City’s first Chinese grocery store on Mott Street, Mott 32 encapsulates East meets West with its food and décor. The interior has elements of an industrial warehouse with colonial furnishings juxtaposed with Chinese items such as a hanging abacus and calligraphy pens in the private rooms, and a bar inspired by a Chinese apothecary.

The restaurant practises a farm-to-table philosophy with menu signatures such as apple wood roasted Peking duck, fire-roasted suckling pig and barbecue prime Iberico pork with honey. For dessert, try the double-boiled papaya with almond and sea coconut. The cocktail bar is a great start to the evening.
