Xie Xingfang, the former China badminton player and wife of two-time Olympic champion Lin Dan, has given birth to a baby boy at the United Family Healthcare centre in Beijing, China.
Lin posted a picture of himself and his wife with their newborn son, Fang Fang, on his Sina Weibo account, saying the baby was delivered at 10.49am on Saturday.
Lin said: “Welcome to the family. Fang Fang, you have had a long day.”
The 33-year-old Lin Dan married Xie, 35, in 2012.
