Rex Tso in 'awesome' shape for 'Victory at the Venetian'
Hong Kong's 'Wonder Kid' ready to put on a good show at the Cotai Arena as he looks to extend unbeaten streak

Birthday boy Rex Tso Sing-yu slept like a baby as he easily made weight for his latest bout, eager to showcase his skills on Saturday night.
Tso, who celebrated his 28th birthday on Wednesday, said getting his weight down to 117 pounds was a “cinch” and that he was well prepared for his super flyweight non-title fight against Thailand’s Khunkhiri Wor Wisaruth (21-10-1, 13 KOs) over eight rounds.
He’s definitely stronger and together with his improved cardiovascular conditioning, he’s going to be a rocket ship out there
“I’m confident this will be my best performance,” said “Wonder Kid” Tso, who is aiming to extend his unbeaten record to 17 wins.
“Everything has gone so well. I slept well last night instead of before when I was struggling to keep my weight down.”
Tso’s strength and conditioning coach, Ross Eathorne, said the Hong Kong star’s preparations had been “awesome” and that he had been a dream to train.
“Rex is a great athlete and he has done everything I have asked him to do. Having an athlete like that you can say it’s been fantastic.
