Knockout artist. It’s a moniker Rex Tso Sing-yu is not known for, but in Saturday night’s Clash of Champions he showed what a knockout fighter he really is after scoring his 19th straight victory and his 12th knockout as a professional.

“The Wonder Kid” won his third straight fight inside the distance as he outclassed South Korean veteran Young Gil-bae with a classy display, finishing the 12-round contest at the end of the fourth round before a crowd of 2,800 spectators at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai.

“Right now, my mind is blank. I’m very emotional right now. Thank you Hong Kong for your support,” said Tso after improving his impressive record to 19-0, 12 KOs.

“I hit him with a good left on the chin in the fourth and that’s when I knew I had him.

“I was watching for his left hand, but it never came. As the fight wore on, he was taking more and more punishment, and I just knew I would win. I just wanted to charge at him and finish it.”
