Rain, fog halt play at Ballantine’s
Rain and fog halted first round play after just a few hours at the Ballantine’s Championship in South Korea on Thursday.
Opening round action at the US$2.8 million tournament was stopped at 10:50 am due to poor visibility. The day’s first groups had set off at 7:00 am.
Swede Johan Edfors was top of the leaderboard at five-under through 10 holes on the par-72, 7,281-yard course.
Bernd Wiesberger of Austria is the defending champion at the event, co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour.
