Rapper Dragon stamped himself as favourite for the BMW Hong Kong Derby with another dominant victory in Sunday’s HK$10 million Classic Cup at Sha Tin.
John Moore’s star is now shooting for a clean sweep of the four-year-old series, having also won the Classic Mile in January.
Joao Moreira settled Rapper Dragon midfield before easing to the outside at the top of the straight and asserting his dominance to come away for a decisive win.
Pakistan Star rediscovered his best form, rattling home from last to finish second, while Seasons Bloom came third.
