Imperial Gallantry got the gaps at the right time to get up in the shadows of the post following a patient ride travelling third from the rear. He was suited by pace and the strong riding of jockey Nash Rawiller. Favourite Team Sweet did little wrong following a midfield run and just found one better in a dash to the wire. He's a winner waiting to happen. Mr Potential set a genuine pace after being hard ridden to lead from a wide gate and was only collared in the final few metres. It was a much-improved run following a gear change and he may be headed in the right direction now. Forever Posh only held his ground after stalking the speed along the fence. He has improved in two outings this term but may be a better runner on a wet track or the softer conditions of the dirt track or the Valley course.

Racing Incident Report

Race Five: (033)-TAK WAH HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Metres

GORGEOUS AGAIN, which was fractious in the barriers, was slow to begin and lost a considerable amount of ground.

Before being allowed to race again, GORGEOUS AGAIN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.

GLORIOUS SUN began very awkwardly and made heavy contact with the outside of its barrier stall, resulting in its rider, O Doleuze, becoming badly unbalanced and losing the use of his left stirrup iron for a short distance.

As a result of this incident, GLORIOUS SUN lost a significant amount of ground and consequently became detached from the field.

Before being allowed to race again, GLORIOUS SUN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.

WORLD RECORD was steadied away from the heels of TRIUMPHANT LIGHT on jumping as a result of that horse shifting in.

TRAVEL AMBASSADOR was hampered on jumping when steadied away from the heels of AMRITSARIA which was taken out by SMART SALUTE.

After this, SMART SALUTE was ridden along, however, failed to muster speed.

Despite being hard ridden in the early stages, HOUSE OF LUCK failed to muster speed.

From the outside barrier, IMPERIAL GALLANTRY was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.

Passing the 1000 Metres, HOUSE OF LUCK raced in restricted room inside TEAM SWEET.

After the 1000 Metres, SMART SALUTE was left racing wide and without cover.

Near the 900 Metres, TRIUMPHANT LIGHT was left racing wide and without cover.

The performance of AMRITSARIA, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, AMRITSARIA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection of TRIUMPHANT LIGHT and SMART SALUTE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

IMPERIAL GALLANTRY and TEAM SWEET were sent for sampling.
