Fancied to jump co-favourite Isaac enjoyed a dream run after jumping alertly from a middle gate and took control 200m out for a first win at his second official start. He's got the tools to head higher and when fully mature should be effective up to 1,400m. Favourite Royale Elegance stayed on well after peeling off the rails in midfield to grab second. He's near a rating bottom. Gracydad closed off nicely after a patient ride beyond midfield with cover from a wide gate. He has been running well in defeat and will be opening his win account shortly. Diamond Mysterious dashed well after travelling second from the rear following a slow break. He's back on track following two positive runs and won't be far off a 1,200m success on either surface or course. As for the also rans, there wasn't much to write home about.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (263)-SHEK KIP MEI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Metres

DIAMOND MYSTERIOUS was slow to begin.

PEARL WIN shifted out at the start and bumped GRACYDAD.

GRACYDAD, from the outside barrier, was then steadied and shifted across behind runners.

ISAAC and ROBUST MOMENTUM bumped on jumping.

Passing the 1000 Metres, ROBUST MOMENTUM got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of ROYALE ELEGANCE which was being steadied to allow ISAAC to cross.

Approaching and passing the 1100 Metres, ROCKET LET WIN became unbalanced when crowded for room between WORLD CITY and GENTILIS (K C Leung) which shifted out.

Then making the turn near the 1050 Metres, ROCKET LET WIN was steadied when further tightened for room between GENTILIS which continued to shift out and WORLD CITY which, after being bumped on the hindquarters, became unbalanced and shifted in marginally.

K C Leung was reprimanded and advised that whilst he did not shift a large amount of ground in this incident, nonetheless in the circumstances he should have made more of an effort to prevent his mount from shifting out and crowding ROCKET LET WIN.

After the 600 Metres, ROCKET LET WIN was left racing wide and without cover.

Passing the 400 Metres, GRACYDAD momentarily raced in restricted room when placed inside the heels of SPARKLING TALENT and outside ROYALE ELEGANCE which shifted out away from the heels of ISAAC.

Passing the 150 Metres, ROYALE ELEGANCE (C Williams) commenced to shift in under pressure.

For this reason, C Williams changed his whip into his right hand passing the 100 Metres.

For the majority of the race, PEARL WIN travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of PEARL WIN and FIVE STARS AGENT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

ISAAC and ROYALE ELEGANCE were sent for sampling.
