Well backed late, Falcon Turbo dashed nicely to claim victory 30m out after switching outside a tiring Zero Hedge at the 150m following a midfield run on the fence. He had put the writing on the wall two back at Sha Tin and appears to have the tools to head higher. High Five was just denied after advancing to the front 80m out following a prominent run on the fence. He's struck a bottom with back-to-back placings and could get away with a win before the break. Favourite Fantastic Feeling ran on following a one-off run in midfield to grab a placing late. He's honest but has trouble winning near the top of the weights. Star Of Joy got going late following a patient ride fourth from the rear to snare a Quartet spot. Zero Hedge was on his tippy toes 100m out after working too hard to lead from a wide gate. He's had excuses in back-to-back runs in this grade and needs to be kept safe when he can track the speed from a good gate.

Racing Incident Report

Race Five: (728) - VIOLET HILL HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters

STAR OF JOY stumbled at the start and lost further ground on jumping after bumping with FALCON TURBO as a result of both horses shifting ground.

This resulted in STAR OF JOY racing back in the field.

JOLLY CONVERGENCE, which was being steadied to obtain cover from a wide barrier, was bumped on jumping by SO FAST which shifted out after beginning awkwardly.

Also from a wide barrier, LADY FIRST was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.

SO FAST lost its right front plate passing the 1000 Metres.

After the 700 Metres, GOOD FOR YOU was left racing wide and without cover.

Passing the 200 Metres, STARLIGHT raced tight inside BACK IN BLACK.

A veterinary inspection of BACK IN BLACK, LADY FIRST and GOOD FOR YOU immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

FANTASTIC FEELING, FALCON TURBO and HIGH FIVE were sent for sampling.
