USA rugby sevens star Carlin Isles and Super Bowl winner Nate Ebner on what it takes to make it to the top

As the World Sevens Series winds down and the World Cup approaches, find out what motivates some of the United States’ best athletes

“You have to do it for you,” says USA Sevens star Carlin Isles on his road to making it at the pinnacle of his sport.

“You can’t do it for fame, you can’t do it for other people because once people stop believing in you, and once people [stop supporting] you, if that dies with them, then you won’t make it,” he adds.

“But if you know who you are and you stay true to that and you do it for yourself, it will happen. If I can do that you can do that.”

The USA Sevens are a team on the rise and they are doing everything they can to put the sport on the map in their home country as July’s Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco approaches.

Hear them and former USA Sevens player and New England Patriots’ Super Bowl winner Nate Ebner talk about the sacrifices they have made to get to the top.
