Societe Generale Valley are all but assured of a second successive league championship after a commanding 29-3 win over Bloomberg HK Scottish in the Hong Kong Premiership on Saturday.

Valley showed they are again the team to beat this season, running in 29 unanswered point thanks to tries to Tiger Bax, Grant Kemp, Taukiha’amea Koloamatangi and Matt Rosslee.

Kowloon’s 37-20 win over Natixis HKFC ensures they are still a chance to finish second and earn a home semi-final ahead of their clash with Scottish on the final weekend of the minor round.

Herbert Smith Freehills HKCC edged Borrelli Walsh USRC Tigers 24-20 in the battle of the bottom two.
