Shaun Wright-Phillips scored against his former club in the 78th minute to give last-place Queens Park Rangers a 1-0 victory over Chelsea on Wednesday in the west London derby.
QPR won for the first time in the top flight at Stamford Bridge since March 1979, ending Chelsea’s four-game winning streak’s in one of English Premier League’s biggest upsets of the season.
Chelsea is fourth in the standings.
Everton moved two points behind Chelsea, beating Newcastle 2-1. Liverpool beat Sunderland 3-0 to move seven points behind Chelsea.
