Spanish police say they have captured a fan of Serbian soccer club Partizan convicted of killing a French fan, Brice Taton, 28, a supporter of Toulouse.
Taton sustained brain damage after Partizan Belgrade supporters attacked French fans in a bar on September 17, 2009.
Spanish police said on Thursday that Djordje Prelic was identified during a routine passport control in Barcelona after it was discovered he was using a fake Czech passport.
Prelic was sentenced to 15 years in prison by a Serbian court for taking part in an attack by a group of Partizan hooligans on Taton that resulted in his death before a Europa League game in 2009.
