China’s Football Association are clearly leaving no stone unturned as they try to find a new manager, even advertising the position on their website.

France’s Alain Perrin was sacked on Friday, paying the price for dropping points against Hong Kong in two crucial World Cup qualifiers.

And his replacement will be expected to guide the team to the 2019 Asian Cup and 2022 World Cup, according to the CFA advert.

Interested parties can apply here. Health, coaching certificates, experience, communication ability and a knowledge of international, Asian and Chinese football are the requirements.

It’s unclear whether guiding Dagenham & Redbridge to Champions League glory on Football Manager 2015 actually counts, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
