Adidas sees future in lower-tier cities

The German sporting goods maker opened more than 800 new stores on the mainland last year, with more than 400 of them in lower-tier cities.

Adidas' 18,000 sq ft flagship Tsim Sha Tsui store has reopened after a facelift, in time for the festive shopping season.

The sportswear brand celebrated the sixth anniversary of the branch this year, and the reopening on Tuesday attracted not just celebrity fans but also plenty of passing shoppers.
