What I'm listening to: Africa Hitech's 93 Million Miles. I continue to be super impressed by this production duo. 93 Million Miles is a follow-up to last year's Hitecherous EP and shows so much variety. Both sound like a soundtrack to a progressive multimedia science curriculum taught to kids in some alternative future.

Chirac misses the point on France's Muslims

To French President Jacques Chirac, the debate over allowing religious garb in schools and offices is about protecting the French ideal of secularism. To many others, it is a diversion from the real issue: how the country has failed in integrating its five million or so Muslims, mostly immigrants from North Africa.
