Consultant Alan Chan puts a personal spin on the year ahead

Designer and brand consultant Alan Chan Yau-kin opened Gallery 27 with the aim of promoting creative graphic art and bringing it into our daily lives.

To banish the notion that art directors are commercially driven, Chan asked nine designers to each create an experimental graphic artwork for an exhibition entitled "Art by Art Directors".

Welcome to a Rouge awakening

Private preview of all that glitters

The Hong Kong International Jewellery Designer Association organised a three-day private show at the Grand Hyatt hotel from June 12 to 14, at which the non-profit organisation exhibited jewellery ranging from silver accessories to haute couture pieces. AVERAGE SALARIES in Macau do not yet compare with those in Hong Kong, but they are catching up. Alan Chan, general manager of Links Recruitment Macau, said the gap was steadily narrowing, though disparities remained in certain sectors.
