No real estate? She's unlikely to say 'I do'

More than seven in 10 mainland women won't consider saying 'I do' unless their suitor owns his own home, according to the results of a national survey released yesterday.

Millions of children 'left behind'

About 58 million children have been left in rural areas on the mainland, because their parents have gone to work in cities, a study has found.

The report's compiler, the All-China Women's Federation, said the situation posed a threat to the children's personal development and safety.
