Cupid heroin case exposes flawed rules

The door to the Cupid inquiry may have been left ajar but, to all intents and purposes, the matter did enjoy some sort of closure on Monday.

Wong Siu-tan relicensed, fine annulled

Veteran trainer Alex Wong Siu-tan was relicensed for the new racing season yesterday, after his $150,000 fine for Winmark's Isosorbide positive was annulled by the Board Of Stewards and his requirement to 'show cause' rescinded.

Controversial sex shop Fetish Fashion is in trouble with the law over alleged sales of the drug amyl nitrite.

Commonly known as 'poppers', the liquid delivers a rush of euphoria when its fumes are inhaled and is popular among homosexuals.

Poppers disappeared from the shelves of Fetish Fashion after police raided the Hollywood Road shop last autumn.
