Making your point forcefully

When you are writing an argument, you have to use as many different techniques as possible to get your reader to agree with your views. Being aware of the possible techniques will also help you when you are responding to the writing of other people. It will help you to understand how they are achieving their effects and give you ideas when you have to write your own comprehension.

Questioning prejudices
