Discovered by Boyzone's manager Louis Walsh, the vocal-harmony group was founded by Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and former member Bryan McFadden in 1998.

Double blow for Ireland

BLACKBURN defender Jeff Kenna and Liverpool's Mark Kennedy have been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland's crucial European Championship Qualifying Group Six soccer clash with Austria in Vienna on September 6.

Kenna is expected to miss another five league games after sustaining a fractured ankle in the Charity Shield against Everton at Wembley.
