Usain Bolt, Jamaica's reigning Olympic champion and world-record holder in both the 100m and 200m sprints, is back at his best - just over a month before the start of the London Olympics.

Organisers of the 2012 Games will be happy: Bolt is the biggest global star in any Olympic sport.

Who's counting?

The Olympic Games are always mesmerising. Competition among the world's best athletes is exciting and, for 16 days in Beijing, we were able to watch great performances. Olympic opening and closing ceremonies are good to observe, not least for what they tell us about the host nation.

Ho-bong looks forward to overseas competition

Sport: Athletics

Achievements: At the recent Division One Inter-School Athletics Championships (HK Island and Kowloon), Ho-bong achieved his personal best in the 100 metres and 200m. In the semi-finals, he timed 11.30 seconds and 23.35 seconds, respectively.

Arthur Li Kai-yin showed he was still in peak form after his record-breaking performance at the Atlanta Olympics by winning three golds at the Asia-Pacific Age Group Championships in Pusan, South Korea.
