Budding chefs went head-to-head at Australian International School Hong Kong (AISHK) in the final of its Junior Master Chef competition on November 9. The cooking started at 4pm and all entrants had to submit their dishes by 6pm, when the judging took place.

Top international schools are struggling to find extra space to ease overcrowding on campuses as demand for places continues to grow.

Applications for admission next year have soared by up to 40 per cent, with many parents putting down their child's name at birth in an attempt to gain entry to their chosen school.
