Police to consider foul play in man's death

Detectives launched a homicide investigation after pathologist found a strangulation mark on the neck of a man who was found unconscious in his flat on Tai Hang Road. An autopsy would be carried out on Wednesday.

Body of missing boy found with neck injury

An autopsy will be conducted today on the body of a 16-year-old boy, reported missing since Saturday, whose body was found floating in the sea off Chai Wan with a neck injury.

Police said the body of Eason Tsang, a jobless school dropout, was found by a man fishing at Ka Yip Street on Monday night.

Foul-play probe into death of woman, 89

Police are investigating whether foul play was involved in the death of a woman, 89. Her husband, 78, found her lying unconscious on the kitchen floor of their home on Shek Lei Estate, Kwai Chung, yesterday at around 9am. She was declared dead at Princess Margaret Hospital at about 10am. An autopsy will be carried out today. An initial examination found a head injury.

Man, 29, charged over death of British tourist

A 29-year-old man, arrested over the death of 64-year-old British tourist Janet Gilson, will appear in Eastern Court today. Police said the man was charged with murder yesterday. Gilson was reported missing by her niece last Wednesday. Her body was found at the home of her niece on Lamma Island, at about 4pm on Saturday.

Mid-Levels man found dead

A Swedish man was found dead in the lift lobby of Cartwright Gardens on Bonham Road at about 10.15am yesterday. Paramedics were called to the block of flats after the man, 34, was found unconscious on the 21st floor. Police gave his name as Stephan, and said he smelled strongly of alcohol. He was declared dead at the scene.

Body found at construction site

Police are investigating the death of a South Asian man whose half-naked body was found at a construction site in Yau Ma Tei yesterday. The man is believed to be aged between 20 and 30. Workers found the body on the second floor of a building under construction in Yau Cheung Road. Police said no suspicious wounds were found on the body and an autopsy would be carried out.
