Bee & Bee oversubscribed

Growth Enterprise Market listing candidate Bee & Bee Natural Life Product said the retail portion of its initial public offering was 77 times oversubscribed and its share placement 3.8 times. The natural food supplement distribution company issued 112 million shares at 46 HK cents to raise HK$51.52 million. It will be listed next Tuesday.

Anyone who has ever been stung by a bee would well understand the terror Eric Valli felt when attacked 10 metres up a tree by a swarm of honeybees trying to protect their swollen nests. Such was their fury that they swooped in on him the second he pressed his camera to his face, penetrating his mosquito mask, piercing his leather gloves and puncturing his bare arms and neck.
