Yoga guru's new move

The man who gave the world 'sweaty' yoga is to visit Hong Kong next week. Bikram Choudhury (below), self-professed inventor of Bikram yoga - he practised in rooms kept at 40.5 degrees Celsius - and the man who trademarked a bunch of yogi moves much to the dismay of other yoga teachers, will be in town on Monday to look over his new club on the fourth floor of 17 Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

A lot of huffin' and puffin' over Bikram name

Away from the deep breaths and relaxation poses in the yoga world, Bikram yoga in Hong Kong has reportedly been causing a few ripples of tension - and not just in the muscles.

According to sources, the Pure Yoga group changed its Bikram focus to the hot yoga style after being asked to pay franchise fees to Bikram Choudhury for using his name.
