The pair of Hong Kong journalists, cameramen for TVB and Now TV, were reportedly beaten by unidentified men as they filmed activist Yang Kuang's bid to visit Nobel laureate Liu Xiaobo's wife, who has been under extralegal house arrest for over two years.

We're home. Finally. In the past six months, myself and my cameraman Leon McCarron have walked 5,000 kilometres from Mongolia to Hong Kong.

Last Saturday, we arrived at my home in Mui Wo, joined by my wife Christine and friends who walked the last seven kilometres with us.

CCTV cameraman falls ill on Guangdong assignment

A 32-year-old cameraman from state-run broadcaster CCTV has reportedly contracted Sars after being sent on assignment to Guangdong.

News of the cameraman's illness caused panic at CCTV's Beijing headquarters. Staff grabbed surgical masks, cleaners disinfected offices throughout the 22 floors, and senior producers were told to budget for spending on health care.
