Hundreds of fans turned out yesterday to catch a glimpse of Hong Kong's most famous cat. And a sleepy-looking Brother Creamy, who was wheeled out in an emerald blue and polka dot trimmed pram, had just one word for the adoring crowd: "Meow."

City University student who taped his cat to a wall turns himself in

A City University student has turned himself in to police after taping his cat to a wall and posting a picture of it online, the school said yesterday.

The first-year student, who was not named in an official statement by CityU, was escorted by a university official when he surrendered.

Relax park rule to let SPCA neuter stray cats there: Welfare groups

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals wants the government to end the ban on it operating in the city's parks, a measure it says hinders efforts to reduce the population of stray cats.

Public parks are ideal habitats for feral cats, but the government's concern is that the SPCA's presence would encourage irresponsible owners to dump their pets in parks.
