Tsang walks the talk for two blocks

As head of a new committee, Financial Secretary John Tsang Chun-wah will personally work to promote the green vehicles. This may be a herculean task: the city now has a whopping 31 private electric cars out of more than 400,000 registered vehicles on the streets.

Minister, wife unhurt in car crash

A car carrying Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Chan Ka-keung and his wife was involved in an accident in Wan Chai last night, but no one was hurt. The vehicle, driven by a government chauffeur, was hit from behind by a private vehicle at about 8pm on Queen's Road East when the driver braked suddenly. Both drivers passed breath tests.

The combination of a spoiled, self-centred celebrity and her legal transgression is a winning recipe for some rich schadenfreude. Boy beats off gang ambush

Updated at 2.31pm: A boy had a narrow escaped after five men attacked him in Kau To Hill, a luxury residential area in Sha Tin, on Tuesday morning.

The teenage boy was on his way to school in a chauffeur-driven people carrier on Hung Kiu Lane when two vans ambushed the vehicle, blocking off escape from both behind and front.
